Welcome to NewportBuyLocal.com!
The Web Site of the Newport Farmers’ Market in Historic Downtown Newport, NH!
We are your one stop shopping spot for locally grown, baked and created food and crafts in the Lake Sunapee region of New Hampshire. All of the items we offer were grown, baked, or made by our vendors within 50 miles of historic downtown Newport. We are one of the longest running farmers’ markets in the state of New Hampshire with over 40 vendors. And all those vendors mean that we have a wonderful variety of produce, locally raised meat, baked goods, ready-to-eat foods, and crafts for you to discover!
The Newport Farmers’ Market 2014 Summer Season will begin on May 30th and will be open every Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm through October 10th. The market is located on the Town Common in Historic Downtown Newport, New Hampshire, and operates rain or shine (or wind, or storm warning…) We will be there every Friday, and we hope to see you there, too! Coming This Summer! Online Ordering!
Some of our farmers, bakers and artisans have made their products available for you to purchase right here on this web site! Now you can pre-order and purchase your items before market days, and pick them up at the market during our normal hours. No more sold out bread or tomatoes! You will know that whenever you make it to market, your order will be waiting for you! And no need to bring cash to pay for your order, you’ve already paid online!
All of the summer season vendors are listed on the market vendors pages, and the vendors that are offering online ordering for the summer season have an order button next to their listing. When you click on that button, you will go to their web store to see what they are offering that week and to place your order. The vendors may also offer online ordering for shipment to you or another address, just like traditional ordering from an online store.
Once you have paid for your order with a credit card, the vendor will have your items waiting for you at their market booth, or at another location when the vendor offers this option. Just pick up your order between 3 pm and 6 pm on Friday at the farmers’ market. You don’t have to hurry to market at 3 pm anymore. Your order will be waiting for you whenever you can get there during market hours.
New vendors will be added throughout the season, so check back often. Watch the list on the right side of this page to see if your favorite vendor will be offering on-line pre-ordering this season!
